Today is World AIDS Day. Please take some time to remember those who have died from HIV/AIDS and recognize the strength of those living with HIV/AIDS. Or, even better, take action. Donate. Spread awareness. Advocate for change. Fight prejudice and discrimination.

And remember: HIV/AIDS often is more than just the biomedical for people. It is connected to homelessness, un/underemployment, poverty, substance abuse, depression. Those who are HIV-positive are seven times more likely to attempt suicide.

I'm having a friends cut.

I've decided I want to make this journal a bit more personal, and to be more open and honest in it.
I've had a lot of people add me who I haven't really spoken to, and it feels strange expressing things that are still quite difficult for me to them.

So if I have deleted you, please don't take it personally! It's just that we haven't spoken very much, and hopefully this can change in the future. :) (Or if you really want to be re-added, comment with why you want to be added)
